Free 100-Night Comfort Adjustment Program
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with the comfort or firmness of your new Yankee Mattress Company mattress within 100 nights of receiving delivery or pickup, we will change the upholstery to better suit your comfort requirements.
THIS FREE ADJUSTMENT IS ONLY AVAILABLE ONCE.
First, sleep on it.
From our extensive experience, we know that it takes time to get accustomed to a new mattress. Therefore, we ask that you sleep on your new mattress for at least 14 nights before requesting an adjustment. Many individuals find that after a few weeks of use, comfort of the mattress significantly improves. However, if after 14 nights you would like to have your mattress made either firmer or softer:
1.) We will change the upholstery to make the mattress either slightly firmer or slightly softer.
2.) We will not work on a mattress that is stained or soiled in any way.
3.) There is no charge for this service.
4.) The appearance of your mattress will change very little or at all.
5.) The free adjustment is only available once.
6.) Only the original purchaser may participate in the program.
7.) You will need to deliver the mattress back to our workshop for this program.
Contact us to discuss more about a 100 Night Comfort Adjustment.
Need Delivery Help?
If you are unable to transport your mattress to our factory, we would be happy to provide round trip transportation for an additional fee. This service would include pick-up of your mattress, transportation to our factory, and re-delivery back to your home. This already reduced delivery charge is non-negotiable.
*Due to the amount of delivery time required for this service, we ask that you plan to be without the mattress for at least two nights.

Lifetime Comfort Adjustment
ADJUST THE FIRMNESS / COMFORT ANY TIME DURING THE MATTRESS WARRANTY.
The Lifetime Comfort Adjustment program kicks in on the 101st night of use, after the Free 100 Night Comfort Adjustment program ends. “Lifetime” is defined by the terms of the warranty as printed on the law tag of your mattress. For example, let’s say your mattress has a 10-year warranty. You can take advantage of the Lifetime Comfort Adjustment program until 10 years past the day you purchased the mattress.
If you believe an adjustment would be beneficial, Yankee Mattress Company will add/remove either firm or plush upholstery materials to the comfort layer of your mattress. This is not a complete rebuild, but a refreshing of the mattress in attempt to better fit your comfort preference. Just as the “100 Night Comfort Adjustment” sttaes, the physical appearance of the mattress will change very little.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING DETAILS REGARDING THE LIFETIME ADJUSTMENT PROCESS:
This is a ONE-TIME adjustment during the warranty period of the mattress, the length of which is printed on the law tag (5/5 for 5-year, 10/10 for 10-year, etc.).
This adjustment can only make your mattress firmer or softer than its current state. Any new padding added will be similar in quality to what was in the mattress when it was originally made.
There is a fee for the Lifetime Comfort Adjustment program. Please contact our customer service for adjustment cost.

The softening of a mattress over use time is completely normal and is not considered a structural defect.
How long is the coverage period?
The warranty coverage period runs from the original date of purchase. Repair of replacement of the mattress or box foundation does not extend the warranty period or begin a new limited warranty period. Warranty information and coding is printed on the white “law” tag affixed to the mattress and box foundation. If this tag is removed, please retain with your other mattress records. If you purchase a mattress only without the matching foundation, your warranty will remain in effect provided that the other box foundation is deemed to offer proper support by a Yankee representative.
Replacement of one piece of the sleep set does not automatically constitute the replacement of the other piece(s). This limited warranty is provided to the original purchaser and is not transferable. An Original Sales Receipt is Required for any warranty considerations to be made. The determination to repair or replace the product will be made exclusively by the Yankee Mattress Company. In the event of a replacement or repair, the customer will be responsible for all transportation or delivery costs.
The Yankee Mattress Company shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages which results though the use of this product. No warranties, expressed or implied, are extended to persons who purchase this product from anyone other than the Yankee Mattress Company or it’s authorized dealers, and all warranties to such persons, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness, are hereby excluded.
Yankee Mattress Care Information
This high quality sleep set has been designed to give you years of comfortable and supporting sleep.
In order to enjoy this product to its fullest potential, several simple items should be observed:
1.) Proper Frame Support: All Queen frames must have either a rigid steel crosswise or lengthwise center slat or bar that is supported by at least one leg extending to the floor. King grames must have at least 2 center legs. All Full mattress/box springs purchased after 11/01/2014 must have a center slat with at least 1 center leg extending to the floor.
*Mattresses only use without a box spring/foundation must be supported by either a solid wood platform, or a wood slatted system with a gap no more than 3” between each slat.
Please keep this in mind as lack of proper support will void any warranty.
2.) Mattress Protector: We highly recommend a waterproof mattress protector to prevent moisture from entering the mattress. Moisture and staining will adversely affect the mattress components and can cause premature wear. Please be advised that the mattress warranty will be voided if the mattress is strained, soiled or burned.
3.) Break in Period: Like becoming accustomed to wearing new shoes, it may take as long as 30 to 60 days to become fully comfortable on your new mattress. This is especially true if your old mattress was well worn and under supportive.
4.) Odor: You may detect a slight odor when your new mattress is delivered. This is normal and any odor should dissipate within 7-10 days.
5.) Loose Threads: Loose threads are not unusual on today’s multi-quilted mattresses. To remove, simply snip with scissors. Do not pull to remove, as quilting damage could occur.
Body Impressions are normal and not considered a manufacturing or structural defect.
Body impressions are indentations on the surface of a mattress that are caused by compaction of foam and other upholstery materials. You should expect to see these impressions in as little as a week after you begin to sleep on your new mattress. Body impressions of up to 1.5” are considered normal. You may see two impressions if the mattress is used by two people.
*To minimize or equalize body impressions, it is very important to rotate the mattress from head to toe frequently. If the mattress is not rotated at least once every 1 to 2 months, you may notice on side of the bed softer than the other. This can happen as early as 3 months after initial use. Unfortunately, lack of rotation is considered misuse and would prevent a warranty claim from being processed.
