The story of how our partnership came about is this; MGM CEO William Hornbuckle while on one of his stays, he slept so soundly and comfortably that he took note of the label on his mattress (Yankee), later commented to those at MGM Springfield’s headquarters about his experience, and essentially initiated steps that would eventually lead to our company getting a contract.
“Bill commented about what a great night’s sleep he had on that mattress, and that pretty much secured their position,” their CFO recalled with a laugh.

When it became time for Hotel UMass to refresh their mattresses and bedsprings, they contacted Yankee Mattress for the job. We manufactured 42 new mattress and box spring sets for Hotel UMass. All delivered and removed the old sets as well. Visitors now receive a fantastic nights sleep.
